GENERAL MANAGER
Location: Berlin
Start Date: 1.08
Description:
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic general manager to help in our expansion.
We share the passion for people, food, and drinks.
Your Role:
You make sure that things run on time and are executed smoothly
You are the first point of contact for the organization
You manage reservations and logistics
You manage invoices
Administrative support for different departments
Dealing with Suppliers: Cleaning contractors, Building management
You will be responsible for taking phone calls and resolving inquiries from staff, public & business contacts
You will conduct team meetings and organize events
You are responsible for recruiting new members for the team
You supervise the staff and conduct training when needed
You will initiate creative strategies
Your goal is that the place is functioning at its best!
Your Profile:
You are highly professional and experienced in gastronomy or hotel management for at least 3-5 years
Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to use your own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to management
Able to work flexible hours when necessary in support of high priority actions or remote staff
Able to stay cool under pressure and deal with conflicting demands diplomatically
Strong MS Office skills across Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
Discrete and trustworthy with respect to confidential and personal information
You have an excellent command of German and good English language skills
You are an excellent communicator and know how to motivate a team
